Public Presentations

Public Presentations will be on March 20th, 2:00 - 7:00 pm, and on March 21st, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. They will be at the Faith Fellowship Church, 6251 NW Newberry Hill Road, in Silverdale, one mile West of Highway 3, towards Seabeck. You must register ahead of time at our March 5th Club Meeting. If you aren't able to attend the Club Meeting and want to give a Public Presentation you will need to email your club leader (click here) to register.

From Tracy Coolbaugh, Public Presentation Committee Chair:
The last couple of years there were MANY presentations given that were under time. Word had gotten out that there is no longer a deduction for being under time. That is NOT correct. There IS a deduction for being under time, it is just not an automatic ribbon place dropping like it used to be. A high blue, slightly under time might still be a blue. A mid-blue could easily drop to a red ribbon for being under time.

Juniors: Minimum 3 minutes
Intermediates: Minimum 5 minutes
Seniors: Minimum 8 minutes
All levels: Maximum time 20 minutes.

Intermediates and Seniors doing Public Speaking (different from a public presentation, with no props): Minimum time 10 minutes
